DAPPER was created by two founders who spent their lives in environments where precision, integrity, and discipline weren’t goals — they were required. Those values shaped the way they work, the way they lead, and the way they build products for men.

David Prine

Co-Founder, DAPPER
Designer. Leader. Builder with purpose.
David grew up in a small town where everyone knew your name. How you treated people — and the pride you put into what you did — always made its way back to you. That simple truth shaped his values early: your actions define who you are.
Drawn to intentional design from a young age, David built a career around purpose and precision. At ASML, he led teams through complex technical installs in high-accountability environments where discipline and thoughtful execution were the norm. Before that, he served in the United States Navy, reinforcing the same code he was raised with: show up with integrity, be reliable, and take pride in your work.
Over time, David noticed a gap in men’s grooming: too many shortcuts, too much noise, not enough intention. Products were overloaded with fragrance, synthetics, and marketing — but lacked discipline in their design. So he set out to build grooming essentials that simplify routines, reduce clutter, and actually perform.
Inside DAPPER, David leads product concept and design, scent and texture development, ingredient vetting, and real-world testing.
If he wouldn’t use it every day, it doesn’t get the DAPPER name.
David’s motto:

Forrest Guenther
Co-Founder, DAPPER
Engineer. Veteran. Builder of things that last.
Forrest has spent his entire adult life in roles where precision isn’t optional — it’s the baseline. He served eight years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician, maintaining aircraft where attention to detail wasn’t a preference, but a responsibility.
After the Navy, he brought that discipline to aerospace. At Northrop Grumman, he built spacecraft for missions that demanded zero shortcuts. Today, he engineers Blue Origin’s first satellite — a role shaped by clarity, integrity, and long-term thinking.
Forrest saw the same gap David did: grooming products filled with cheap fillers, loud marketing, and very little honesty. Nothing matched the standards men lived by or the routines they relied on. So when DAPPER was created, he committed to a strict line in the sand:
If a formula isn’t natural, functional, and transparent — it doesn’t launch.
Inside DAPPER, Forrest leads formula engineering, ingredient verification, performance analysis, testing, and quality assurance.
Every detail must earn its place.
Forrest’s motto:
